  • Chickamauga Lake Located near Chattanooga, Chickamauga Lake offers public boat ramps and plenty of bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish.
  • Nickajack Lake Also located in the Chattonooga area, Nickajack is another top fishing destination. Public boat ramps are available at this lake.
  • Fort Loudoun Lake This lake has a number of public access points, and is well stocked with Spotted, white, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass. It is also home to crappies, bluegill and catfish.
  • Chilhowee Lake This lake is located on the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You'll find brook, lake and rainbow trout, as well as bluegill, catfish and walleye.
  • Hiwassee River This fast moving river is a top destination for fisherman and is famous for the trout that can be caught there.
  • Little Tennessee River This river is home to many species of fish, including bass, trout, walleye and catfish.
